1. What Statcard is

Statcard provides creators with a live, shareable media-kit page. You connect your social accounts and Statcard displays statistics about those accounts, such as follower counts and engagement rates, on a page you control and choose to share.

Connecting an account is not a one-off import. TikTok and Instagram grant apps ongoing access, and Statcard keeps that access so your page can go on showing real numbers. Section 3 says what it does with it.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. Statcard is not intended for anyone younger, and we close accounts we learn belong to someone under 16. You are responsible for activity on your account. One Statcard page per person or entity; handles are allocated first-come, first-served and may be reclaimed if inactive or misleading.

3. Connected accounts

When you connect a social account, you authorize Statcard to retrieve statistics about that account from the platform's official API, using read-only access and the minimum scopes needed. That authorization is continuing, not a single visit: for TikTok and Instagram, Statcard stores the access token the platform issues and renews it before it expires, so the connection stays alive.

What you are authorizing is reading your own account, read-only, for your own media-kit page. Today the stored token is used for two things and no others: renewing itself, and asking the platform to drop the grant when you disconnect. We do not post, message, or make any change on your behalf, and we never use your credential to reach anyone else's account. If we start using it to read your numbers on a schedule, that is a change we announce on the privacy policy first, and it stays inside these same read-only scopes.

You may disconnect any account at any time, inside Statcard or from the platform's own app-permissions settings. Disconnecting inside Statcard asks the platform to drop the grant, deletes our copy of the credential, stops all further retrieval, and removes the stored statistics derived from that connection. Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform's own terms.

4. Your access credentials

Here is what we commit to. Stored tokens are encrypted, with the encryption key held outside the database. They are used only for the purposes in section 3. They are never shown in the app and never included in an export, so nobody you send an export to ever receives one, and we do not log them. Platform error messages are stripped of token-shaped text before anything is written down. If we cannot renew a credential we delete it and ask you to reconnect. If you disconnect, or delete your account, we ask the platform to drop the grant and destroy our copy immediately, and our copy goes whether or not the platform answers.

No system is risk-free. If we ever have reason to believe one of your credentials has been exposed, we will revoke it and tell you.

5. Your content and data

Your statistics are yours. You choose whether your page is shared, and you may export your data or delete your account at any time. Deleting your account destroys your stored credentials immediately, after asking each platform to drop the grant, and removes your page, your stored statistics and your sign-in.

6. Acceptable use

You may not misrepresent statistics, impersonate others, attempt to access other users' data, interfere with the service, or use Statcard for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

7. Service

Statcard is provided “as is” without warranties. Statistics are retrieved from third-party platforms and may lag or be unavailable when those platforms are. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is currently nothing, because Statcard is free for creators.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
